Pottermore...

Hey dolls :)
So today I am extremely excited to announce the unveiling of JKRowling's Pottermore! If like me, you were unable to become a BETA member/ tester, you've had to (disappointingly) wait for half a year to reveal itself to the public. And what an anticipating, frustratingly annoying 6 months it has been.

I am also happy to announce that I am officially in the wonderful house of slytherin. To some this may be a let down, but personally, I was rooting for this cunning, ambitious house.
My username is Pixiecharm6827, so feel free to add me as a fellow friend or frenemy ;D (I love a little house rivalry!!)

So to all you magical folk, or even you mere muggles out there... join Pottermore!

London's Calling...

What have you been up to today?

Just look at those pearly whites!

Hey there lovelies- long time no see...
I apologise for lack of posts recently; at the beginning of last week, my cold and sore throat spiralled into a 4 day long migraine (eek!) meaning no twitter or blogger for a very long, very boring week. But after a tiring few days being bed bound, I finally left the house to enjoy some sunshine with the best friend.
Today I am feeling in the reviewing mood, so have decided to share with you my latest obsession in the world of beauty and hygiene...

Pearl Drops.
I found this teeth whitening product when at the supermarket the other day, and decided to give it ago. Acting as just a normal toothpaste, by applying twice a day (I however, like to use it three times, just to get the full effect- and minty fresh breath!), this products claims to whiten your teeth and enhance your smile.

I have used it everyday for 3 days now and have actually noticed a difference. My teeth look a lot cleaner, even before flossing; which has boosted my confidence as well.
At a reasonable price of around £3, this product is definitely one to purchase!

What do you think of Pearl Drops? Are there any teeth whitening toothpastes you've been using and noticed a difference from?

The Anatomy of a Prom Clutch

Hey dolls :)
With prom season nearing, I am excitedly hunting websites and shops for the perfect prom outfit. I have found a few ensembles in numerous high street shops such as Topshop and Oasis, but am keeping a wide eye open for any potential dresses or heels.
However, I am super excited to find the clutch, as I have come across many, although they all seem to be too small.
But, before you ask; what are the contents of a typical teen blogger's prom clutch?

One- Lipstick. For me this is a must. I love to wear a bold, colour pop lippy; so whatever shade I will be wearing on Prom night will no doubt be stashed away in my clutch.

Two- Camera. I am a total snap-happy photographer, and so will be sure to have my camera already to whip out and capture memories!

Three- Perfume sample/ mini. To freshen up my scent throughout the night.

Four- Bobby Pins. In  case of emergency; you'll never know when you need to clip up that loose curl!

Five- Chewing gum/ mints. To keep the canape breath and bay.

What will be stashed away in your stylish prom clutch? Have you found one yet?

Friday Favourites...

Happy Friday everyone!
After a busy week of filming and portfolio-ing for my Media Studies coursework, I am finally proud to announce the end of the week; bring on the weekend!
As usual, here is just a glimpse at what I've been adoring this week...

Room decor- How adorable are these origami birds? Super tempted to make these myself!

GunMetal

wow.
I didn't have great expectations for this product; MUA to me, wasn't a regular brand I used, and for the insane price of £1.50, I didn't think this product would blow me away as much as it did.
But thank god it did!
With the angle shaped pencil, this product glides on superbly, creating the perfect winged look, or just for the waterline alone.
I love the shade- it doesn;' look as harsh as a bold black, but doesn't clash with different colour eyeshadows.
Overall, I rate this product 150 out of 100, and recommend to anyone in search of a longlasting, stunning eyeliner at a budget price.

Look what I found on my doorstep this morning...
